Requirements
- 2500 total flight hours minimum
- 2000 flight hours minimum in category (fixed-wing)
- 1000 hours PIC in category
- 500 hours cross-country flight time (at least 50 hours night)
- 500 hours turbine time
- 100 hours night flight time
- 100 hours flight in actual instrument conditions in category
- Instrument rating (IFR) for category and class of aircraft
- Commercial single-engine land certificate or ATP rating
- Fixed wing multiengine rating (if operating twin-engine aircraft)
- First or Second Class FAA Medical Certificate
- Must have flown in category within previous 24 months
- Weight not to exceed 250 pounds
- Less than 70 years old
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical school
- Two to five years related experience and/or training
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues, EMS representatives, hospitals, and public
