About This Role
Challenge Group, a cargo airline company, is seeking a First Officer to operate various Boeing aircraft from their Luqa base. The role involves conducting pre-flight checks, communicating with air traffic control, monitoring flight instruments and weather conditions, and filing comprehensive flight reports. Candidates must hold a valid EASA ATPL or CPL license with Class 1 Medical certification and ICAO English Level 4 proficiency. The position offers the opportunity to work in cargo operations with a focus on safety, efficiency, and professional aviation standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct all pre-flight checks to ensure safety
- Communicate with air traffic control throughout the flight
- Check all cockpit instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Observe weather conditions, aircraft position, and air traffic regularly during flight
- Request flight plan changes as needed
- File flight trip reports and aircraft status reports before and after landing
Requirements
- Valid EASA ATPL or CPL license
- Valid EASA Part Med Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Minimum ICAO English language proficiency Level 4
- Boeing aircraft experience preferred
- Knowledge of federal aviation safety rules, regulations and procedures
- Degree in aircraft engineering, aviation or related fields
