About This Role
Latitude 33 Aviation, a San Diego-based private aviation company managing one of the largest fleets of business jets in the U.S., is seeking an experienced Legacy 500 Second in Command (First Officer) for Part 91 operations based in Carlsbad, California. The operator specializes in private jet charter and aircraft management and has been recognized as San Diego's Best Air Charter Company. Candidates must have a minimum of 2,500 total flight hours, 500 hours of multi-engine PIC time, and 250 hours of turbine experience, with ATP and Legacy 500 type rating preferred. Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Embraer Legacy 500 on Part 91 charter flights
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and crew briefings
- Manage flight operations and safety procedures
- Provide professional customer service to clients
- Maintain compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures
- Complete required training and proficiency checks

Requirements
- FAA ATP license (preferred)
- Minimum 2,500 hours total flight time
- 500 hours multi-engine PIC
- 250 hours turbine time
- Current FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Legacy 500 type rating (preferred)
- No significant accidents, incidents, or enforcements in last 5 years
- Authorized to work in the USA
- Willing to relocate to Greater San Diego Area or already local
- International experience (preferred)
