About This Role
Draken is seeking experienced First Officers to fly the Learjet 60XR in support of a contract with the Royal Saudi Air Force, with permanent basing in Saudi Arabia. This is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of airborne operations as the company introduces this aircraft to their in-country fleet, with the aircraft set to evolve into a cutting-edge electronic warfare platform. Candidates must hold a UK CAA ATPL or frozen ATPL with a valid Class 1 Medical, minimum 500 hours total time, and multi-engine IR and MCC qualifications. The role involves conducting specialized flight profiles including formation operations while maintaining high professional standards. Draken is a UK-based Part-CAT operator offering exciting careers in mission-critical aviation with opportunities to work on advanced defense and training platforms across NATO countries.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee safe and efficient flight operations in line with regulations and company procedures
  • Coordinate and execute specialized flight profiles, including formation operations
  • Work with fellow crew members to fulfill mission objectives and maintain high professional standards
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and customers, upholding Draken's reputation for excellence
Requirements
  • UK CAA ATPL(A) or frozen ATPL(A) license
  • UK CAA Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • Minimum 500 hours total flight time
  • Jet experience highly desirable
  • Current or previously held Multi-Engine Instrument Rating
  • MCC (Multi-Crew Cooperation) Course
  • AUPRT Course
  • Ability to gain and maintain UK MOD Security Clearances
  • Nationality restrictions apply for security clearance
