About This Role
Thunder Airlines, a charter/leisure airline based in Canada, is seeking a First Officer to operate the Beechcraft King Air aircraft. This is a permanent position based in Thunder Bay with operations across multiple Canadian bases including Sudbury and Timmins. The role requires a minimum CPL with TCCA approval, Class 1 Medical, and ICAO English Level 4 proficiency. While type rating training is provided by the company, preference is given to candidates with 1500 hours total flight time and 500 hours multi-engine PIC experience. Note that visa sponsorship is not provided for this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Beechcraft King Air aircraft on charter flights
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and safety checks
- Manage crew resource management procedures
- Execute flight operations across Thunder Bay, Sudbury, and Timmins bases
Requirements
- Valid CPL (Commercial Pilot License)
- TCCA approval
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- ICAO English Level 4 proficiency
- Preference for 1500 hours total flight time
- Preference for 500 hours multi-engine PIC
- Type rating training will be provided
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
