About This Role
JSX is seeking First Officers to join their innovative lifestyle airline operating scheduled service from Dallas, TX. JSX prioritizes work-life balance with typical schedules of 3-5 legs per day over 14-16 days per month, with pilots returning to their home base each night. Candidates must hold a valid Commercial Multi-Engine Pilot Certificate with a minimum of 800 total flight hours and 50 multi-engine hours, plus a current FAA First Class Medical. Duties & Responsibilities
- Review flight details including maintenance status, NOTAMs, fuel loads, weather conditions, and routing
- Collaborate with Captain to discuss departure and arrival strategies and diversion planning
- Perform all required pre-flight checks, safety procedures, and flows
- Operate aircraft in full compliance with FAA regulations, JSX SOPs, and industry safety standards
- Maintain real-time communication with Mission Control, Ground Operations, ATC, and Flight Attendants
- Serve as secondary voice in decision-making and act quickly in dynamic conditions
- Assist with quick turn tasks including cabin tidying and baggage handling at smaller airports
- Log maintenance issues and communicate critical updates to Mission Control
- Participate in recurrent training and performance evaluations
- Represent JSX with highest standards of safety and professionalism

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 800 total flight hours
- Minimum 50 multi-engine hours
- Minimum 100 hours within the last 12 months
- Valid FAA Commercial Multi-Engine Pilot Certificate
- Current and valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- Current and valid ATP or Commercial Multi-Engine Certificate
- Current and valid FCC Radio Operator's Permit
- Valid driver's license and passport
- No FAA violations, accidents, incidents, or suspensions
- No significant training or check ride failures
