About This Role
AirMed International, part of Global Medical Response, is seeking an experienced First Officer (SIC) to operate Hawker 800 aircraft on air medical transportation missions from Birmingham, AL. The position offers a competitive annual salary of $96,393-$118,506 plus sign-on and retention bonuses, with an 8 days on/6 days off schedule. Candidates must hold or be able to obtain an FAA ATP certificate with HS-125-800 PIC type rating, minimum 1500 total flight hours, 250 multi-engine hours, and 250 PIC hours. Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Hawker 800 aircraft as Second in Command on air medical missions
- Ensure aircraft is ready for mission in coordination with AirMed's dispatch team
- Comply with all domestic and international FARs, ICAO annexes, and AIPs
- Disseminate pertinent flight operations information through operational control structure
- Conduct pre-flight preparations and safety checks
- Support Pilot in Command with final authority in aircraft operations
- Exercise Operational Control on Tier 2 level per General Operations Manual
- Maintain professional conduct and situational awareness
- De-ice aircraft, assist with towing, and maneuvering as needed
- Attend required meetings, training, and check-flights
- Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Operations or Chief Pilot

Requirements
- Valid FAA ATP certificate or eligible to obtain
- HS-125-800 PIC Type Rating required or able to attain
- Minimum 1500 total flight hours
- Minimum 250 hours multi-engine airplane time
- Minimum 250 PIC airplane hours
- Valid First-Class Medical Certificate or able to attain
- Must maintain First Class Medical privileges
- Valid US Passport
- Eligible to hold Chinese 'C' class visa
- Willing to relocate to Birmingham, AL or already residing there
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Able to work night, day, and overnight shifts
- International travel required
