About This Role
Lockheed Martin's corporate flight department seeks an entry-level First Officer to serve as Second-in-Command on a G280 business jet. Based in Fort Worth, Texas, this Part 91 operator requires pilots to assist the pilot-in-command with all flight operations and potentially assume command if necessary. Candidates must hold an FAA ATP (Commercial Multi-Engine minimum), have one year of commercial aviation experience, and a valid Class 1 medical certificate. This position offers flexible scheduling, part-time remote work options, and the opportunity to work within a leading aerospace and defense company's corporate aviation division.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as Second-in-Command on G280 aircraft
- Assist pilot-in-command with all aspects of flight operations
- Execute pre-flight, flight, and post-flight activities
- Demonstrate proficiency in normal, abnormal, and emergency operations
- Be fully competent to assume command of aircraft if necessary
- Order aircraft catering and stock supplies
- Clean and maintain aircraft
- Handle baggage and passenger needs

Requirements
- FAA ATP minimums (Commercial Multi-Engine with Instrument Privileges minimum)
- Valid and current First Class Medical Certificate
- One year of commercial aviation experience
- Valid US Passport
- Must reside within 2-hour drive of Fort Worth Meacham International Airport
- One year retention agreement required (if not already typed on G280)
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- G280 type rating preferred
