About This Role
Luxaviation UK, one of Europe's largest executive aircraft charter operators, is seeking a First Officer for their Istanbul-based Gulfstream IV-SP operation. The successful candidate will join a three-pilot team covering approximately 220 days per year of business aviation flights across Africa and Europe. Candidates must hold a valid EASA or FAA license with type rating on the Gulfstream IV-SP, 1,000+ total flight hours, 100+ hours on type, and ICAO English Level 4 proficiency. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with an award-winning operator that has received multiple Excellence Awards from the Baltic Air Charter Association and Gold Awards from Buying Business Travel magazine.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Gulfstream IV-SP on charter flights
- Participate in three-pilot operational rotation
- Support flight operations for approximately 220 days per year
Requirements
- Valid UK, EASA or FAA pilot license
- Current and type-rated on Gulfstream IV-SP
- Minimum 1,000 total flight hours
- Minimum 100 hours on Gulfstream IV-SP
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Previous operational experience in Africa
- Available to start within two months' notice
