About This Role
Flexjet Europe is seeking experienced First Officers to join their business aviation operations across the UK and EU. This role involves piloting various business jet aircraft on domestic and international flights, working as part of a professional flight crew. Candidates must hold a valid EASA ATPL with 2,500 hours total flight time, including 500 hours PIC and 250 hours multi-pilot instrument time. The position offers the opportunity to work with a leading fractional ownership and charter operator, though applicants must already possess EU/UK work authorization and hold a valid EU passport.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Pilot assigned Flexjet aircraft on domestic and international flights
- Ensure safe flight operations for Flexjet owners and passengers
- Maintain high standards of discipline, conduct and appearance as Company representative
- Support Captain in development and maintenance of professional expertise and crew morale
- Carry out flight duties in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures and aircraft limitations
- Provide advice and assistance to Captain for safe and efficient flight conduct
- Report all known or suspected violations or incidents to Fleet Manager
- Maintain current medical certificate and notify Fleet Manager of any medical conditions affecting performance
- Assist Captain with administrative duties related to flight operations
- Maintain high degree of crew coordination and professional conduct
- Respond to Fleet Manager for duty assignments and training
- Greet passengers and assist with seating and luggage storage
- Conduct passenger briefings as required
- Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks
- Assist with snow and ice removal during inclement weather
- Perform daily aircraft cleaning and maintenance as required
Requirements
- Valid EASA ATPL license
- UK CAA ATPL and Medical desirable but not mandatory
- Minimum 2,500 hours total flight time
- Minimum 500 hours Pilot in Command Under Supervision
- Minimum 250 hours Multi Pilot Instrument Time
- ME-IR (A) on EASA License
- MCC Course certificate or MP Rating on EASA License
- Advanced UPRT qualification or completed ORO.FC.220/ORO.FC.230 training within preceding 3 years
- Valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Valid EU Passport
- English Language Proficiency minimum level 5
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Legal right to work in Europe and/or the UK
- Ability to travel in and out of Europe to all Flexjet service cities/countries
- Ability to work weekends, nights, shifts, holidays and overnight trips
- Type Rating on assigned fleet upon completion of Initial Training
