Horizon Air seeks experienced First Officers for their regional airline operations across the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. Requires minimum 1,465 total flight hours with specific prior Part 121 experience. Requirements
  • 200 hours FAA-approved Prior Qualifying Time as PIC in Part 121 operations
  • 200 hours as SIC at Part 121 carrier OR equivalent Part 91/135 experience
  • Minimum 1,465 hours total flight time (or R-ATP qualified)
  • 500 hours cross-country flight time (or 200 if R-ATP qualified)
  • 100 hours night flight time
  • 250 total hours PIC including 100 cross-country and 25 night hours
  • 75 hours instrument flight time in actual or simulated conditions
  • 25 hours multi-engine flight time
  • FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with multi-engine and instrument ratings
  • Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate
  • FCC restricted radiotelephone operator permit
  • Valid passport allowing unrestricted travel without TRP
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Minimum age 21 years
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be willing to accept base assignment in Seattle, Portland, Spokane, Boise, Medford, Anchorage, or Everett
  • Willing to work multiple days away from home with varied schedule including weekends and holidays
  • English language proficiency
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • SIDA badge eligibility and maintenance
  • Excellent judgment, leadership skills, and demonstrated command ability
