About This Role
ZIMEX, a Swiss-based aviation operator established in 1969, is seeking type-rated First Officers for their DHC-6 Twin Otter multi-crew operations. The company specializes in remote field operations across the globe for petroleum companies, humanitarian organizations, governments, and UN agencies, operating under EASA standards with an excellent safety record. Applicants require a minimum of 200 hours total flight time (70 hours PIC), valid EASA frozen ATPL, Class 1 Medical, ME/IR rating, and DHC-6 type rating. The position offers a generous 5 weeks on/5 weeks off rotation with paid accommodation, travel, medical revalidations, and the opportunity to progress toward captain positions or heavier aircraft operations in diverse and challenging environments.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate DHC-6 Twin Otter aircraft on remote field operations
  • Support multi-crew flight operations in demanding environments
  • Conduct pre-flight inspections and crew briefings
  • Work as part of small, close-knit flight teams
  • Operate in high-risk countries and challenging conditions
  • Maintain highest standards of safety and professionalism

Requirements
  • Minimum 200 hours total flight time
  • Minimum 70 hours PIC
  • DHC-6 (Twin Otter) type rating required
  • Valid EASA frozen ATPL (A) license
  • Valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • Valid EASA ME/IR rating
  • ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 minimum
  • Advanced UPRT or previous EASA-type rating on HPA/MPA
  • MCC or 500 hours multi-crew operation experience
  • COVID-19 vaccination mandatory
  • Yellow fever certificate mandatory
  • Motivation letter in English required
  • CV with clear career timeline (MM/YY format)
