About This Role
PAL Airlines, one of Atlantic Canada's largest carriers, is seeking Direct Entry First Officers to join their award-winning team operating Dash 8 aircraft across 27 destinations in Eastern Canada and charter routes throughout North America. The airline operates three crew bases in St. John's, Halifax, and Montreal with a modern fleet of Dash 8-100, Dash 8-300, and Dash 8-Q400 aircraft. Candidates must hold a valid Transport Canada CPL with instrument and multi-engine ratings, along with either a valid ATPL, SAMRA & SARON, or recently passed IATRA written exam. Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Dash 8 aircraft on scheduled and charter routes
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and crew briefings
- Ensure compliance with Transport Canada regulations and safety procedures
- Manage crew resource management
- Perform post-flight duties and documentation

Requirements
- Valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
- Valid Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating
- Valid Transport Canada Multi-Engine Rating
- Valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Valid ATPL OR SAMRA & SARON OR IATRA written exam passed within past two years
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
- Current passport at time of hire
- Ability to travel without restrictions to the United States
- Ability to obtain and maintain C-1/D transit/crewmember visa
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Transport Canada English proficiency standard (Level 4)
- Two crew multi-engine turbine experience (preferred)
