About This Role
flyExclusive is seeking an experienced First Officer (Second in Command) to operate Citation M2/CJ series aircraft under Part 135 regulations. This is a fully remote position based in Kinston, NC, with 100% travel required while on rotation. Candidates must hold an FAA ATP license with a current First Class Medical Certificate and minimum 1,500 hours total fixed-wing flight time. The role involves safe and efficient flight operations, passenger service, and strict adherence to FAA and company procedures, requiring strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Citation M2/CJ series aircraft safely and efficiently on domestic trips under Part 135 regulations
- Assist the Pilot-in-Command in preparing and ensuring safe operations in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures
- Conduct pre-flight checks and preparations
- Greet passengers, assist with seating, and manage luggage storage
- Conduct passenger briefings and respond to passenger requests and needs
- Maintain high level of customer service and professionalism
- Coordinate and lead crew activities
- Maintain current First Class Medical Certificate
- Notify company of any medical condition that may impair flight duties
- Adhere to all company procedures manuals
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- FAA ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) license
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate
- Minimum 1,500 hours total flight time (fixed-wing)
- Appropriate type rating for Citation M2/CJ series
- Valid passport
- Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for Canada
- Working knowledge of Part 135 Federal Aviation Regulations
- Knowledge of FAA, ICAO, and international flight operations regulations
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to read, comprehend, and speak English clearly
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly and push/pull up to 70 pounds
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Well-groomed appearance and adherence to dress code
- 100% travel availability while on rotation
