About This Role
Contour Airlines seeks an experienced First Officer for their Citation XL/XLS fleet in a Part 135 on-demand charter operation. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional professionalism, leadership, and commitment to safe and reliable operations while providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Able to travel in and out of the country without restrictions
- Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus but not required
- Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive, customer-focused attitude
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to effectively interact with a variety of personalities while maintaining professionalism
- Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team-oriented environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must pass DOT-required pre-employment drug screening
- Willing to submit to and pass FAA and Company-mandated random drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to pass a 10-year work history background check
- Pass criminal history and fingerprint checks as required by TSA
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and irregular shifts
- Must adhere to all safety regulations and work in a professional manner
- Comply with OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulatory requirements
- Current, valid passport
- Able to lift 75 lbs routinely with or without reasonable accommodation
- No excessive check ride failures
- No previous aviation-related accidents or incidents
- Commercial pilot certificate with multi-engine rating
- SIC Type Rating for Citation XL/XLS
- First-Class medical certificate
- Minimum 1,200 total flight hours
- Minimum 250 pilot in command hours
- Minimum 25 multi-engine land hours
- Minimum 75 instrument hours
