About This Role
Thunder Airlines, a charter/leisure airline based in Canada, is seeking First Officers to operate Cessna 208 Caravan aircraft from Thunder Bay. The airline operates a fleet of 14 aircraft with additional aircraft on order. Candidates with a minimum of 1500 hours total flight time and 500 hours multi-engine PIC experience are preferred, though training will be provided. This permanent position requires a valid CPL with instrument rating, Class 1 Medical Certificate, and ICAO English Level 4 proficiency. Visa sponsorship is not provided, so candidates must already have work authorization in Canada.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Cessna 208 Caravan aircraft on charter and leisure flights
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and safety checks
- Ensure compliance with all operational and safety procedures
- Coordinate with crew and ground personnel
Requirements
- Valid CPL (Commercial Pilot License)
- TCCA medical certification (Class 1)
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher
- Minimum 1500 hours total flight time (preferred)
- Minimum 500 hours multi-engine PIC (preferred)
- Type rating training will be provided
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
- Instrument rating (IR)
