About This Role
Air Ambulance is seeking a First Officer to serve as co-pilot on their Citation aircraft based in St. Croix, USVI. This is a full-time position in emergency medical transport operations, requiring pilots to support the Captain in safe and efficient operations of air ambulance flights. Candidates must have a Commercial Pilot rating with instrument rating, minimum 1000 total flight hours with 100 hours multi-engine, and a valid First Class Medical Certificate. The position requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with the ability to freely enter and exit international borders. Part 135 experience is preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Serve as SIC/co-pilot supporting the Captain in safe and efficient aircraft operations
  • Ensure safety of passengers, medical crew, cargo, and aircraft
  • Comply with all Federal Aviation Regulations and Company Operations Manual
  • Perform or assist in pre-flight and post-flight inspections
  • Verify Flight Kit and Minimum Equipment List contents
  • Assist in preparing flight records and required updates
  • Report aircraft maintenance discrepancies
  • Maintain current Medical Certification
  • Complete required training and re-training
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Chief Pilot or Leadership
Requirements
  • Commercial Pilot license with Instrument rating
  • Minimum 1000 hours total flight time
  • Minimum 100 hours multi-engine
  • Valid First Class Medical Certificate
  • U.S. Passport required
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Eligible to work in the US
  • Able to freely enter and exit international borders
  • Able to relocate to St. Croix, USVI or based there
  • Part 135 experience preferred
  • Successfully pass drug screening, fingerprinting check, and background check
  • Successfully complete simulator check ride
  • Knowledge of FAA Regulations and Operations Specifications
  • Ability to lift 70+ pounds regularly
  • Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
