About This Role
AirMed International, part of Global Medical Response (GMR), is seeking an experienced First Officer (SIC) to operate the Beechjet 400 for air medical transportation services based in San Antonio, Texas. The role involves medevac and medical transport missions on a rotating 7 days on / 7 days off schedule with 12-hour shifts. Candidates require an FAA ATP certificate, 1500 total flight hours (250 PIC, 250 multi-engine), and BE-400 PIC qualification. The position offers a competitive salary package ($91,289-$104,331 annually) plus sign-on ($15,000) and retention bonuses ($40,000 over 3 years), relocation assistance up to $5,000, and the opportunity to provide critical medical transport services.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Beechjet 400 as Second in Command on medevac and medical transport missions
- Support the PIC in safe execution of flight duties per FAR Part 135 regulations
- Ensure aircraft is ready for mission in coordination with AirMed's global operations center
- Conduct all pre-flight preparations and inspections
- Comply with all applicable FARs and operational specifications
- Disseminate pertinent flight operations information through operational control structure
- Conduct duties in a professional manner sensitive to the medical environment
- Assist with de-icing, towing, aircraft maneuvering, and hangar operations as needed
- May assist with loading patients and lifting/moving up to 150 pounds with assistance
- Attend required meetings, training, and check-flights
- Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Operations or Chief Pilot

Requirements
- Valid unrestricted FAA ATP certificate (or able to attain)
- BE-400 PIC Qualification (or able to attain)
- Minimum 1500 hours total airplane flight time
- Minimum 250 hours multi-engine land airplane time
- Minimum 250 hours PIC airplane hours
- Valid First-Class Medical Certificate (or able to attain)
- Valid US Passport
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to San Antonio, Texas
- Previous medevac and/or cargo experience preferred
- Able to work night, day, and overnight shifts
- Able to work in outside weather conditions
