About This Role
Challenge Group, a cargo airline operator, is seeking a First Officer to operate B767 aircraft from their Luqa base. The role involves conducting pre-flight checks, communicating with air traffic control, monitoring weather and aircraft systems, and filing flight reports. Candidates must hold a valid ATPL or CPL EASA license with a Class 1 Medical Certificate and ICAO English Level 4 proficiency. Boeing experience is preferred for this cargo operations position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct all pre-flight checks to ensure safety
- Communicate with air traffic control through the flight
- Check all cockpit instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Observe weather conditions, aircraft position, and air traffic regularly during flight
- Request change of flight plan if needed
- File reports of flight trip and aircraft status before and after landing
Requirements
- Valid EASA ATPL or CPL license
- Valid EASA Part Med Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Minimum ICAO English language proficiency level 4
- Boeing experience preferred
- Knowledge of federal aviation safety rules, regulations and procedures
- Degree in aircraft engineering, aviation or related fields
