About This Role
National Airlines, based in Orlando, Florida, is seeking First Officers for its B747-400 and A330 fleet. The airline specializes in passenger charter services, military, and commercial air cargo operations worldwide, handling oversized and time-sensitive cargo. Applicants must hold a current ATP certificate with multi-engine class rating, minimum 2500 total flight hours (with alternatives considered), and 500 hours of turbine time. The position offers the opportunity to work on large-body international operations with career progression toward Captain upgrade. Candidates must be US citizens or legally authorized to work in the United States and willing to undergo FAA background checks and drug screening.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Adhere to instructions and procedures contained in company operational manuals
  • Ensure compliance with all FAA regulations and company policies
  • Comply with all clearances and directives issued by Air Traffic Control and Ground Control
  • Observe Captain's standard in-flight operating procedures and techniques to prepare for upgrade to Captain
  • Ensure necessary forms and flight deck supplies are adequately stocked prior to each flight
  • Perform duties of a Relief Officer on a crew of 3 or more pilots
  • Assist the Pilot in Command in the safe operation of National aircraft
  • Exercise responsibilities in a manner that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and mentorship
Requirements
  • Valid ATP certificate with airplane category multi-engine class rating
  • English proficiency endorsement on ATP certificate
  • Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
  • Valid U.S. passport with no restrictions on international travel
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Minimum 2500 hours total flight time (may be considered with less depending on experience and aircraft types)
  • Minimum 500 hours of turbine time
  • Minimum 1000 hours fixed wing OR 500 hours with a Part 121 carrier
  • Minimum age of 23 years
  • Current and qualified operating in Part 121, 135, or 91 environments
  • Willing to undergo 10-year background check including Pilot Records check
  • Willing to undergo DOT Pre-Employment Drug Test
  • Willing to undergo Criminal History Report Check (CHRC)
  • Subject to FAA 121 mandatory retirement regulations
