About This Role
Cargolux Airlines International is seeking First Officers to operate the iconic Boeing 747-8F and 747-400F freighter aircraft from their Luxembourg base. As a global cargo carrier spanning over 85 destinations in 50 countries, Cargolux values teamwork, customer satisfaction, and aviation excellence. Candidates require a minimum of 1500 hours of multi-pilot jet or large turboprop experience, a valid EASA ATPL or frozen ATPL, and Class 1 Medical certification. The airline offers a competitive salary package scaled to experience level (Junior, First Officer, or Senior First Officer) and operates full-time scheduled cargo operations. Applicants must have authorization to live and work in Luxembourg and be willing to transfer their license to a Luxembourg-issued EASA license.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Boeing 747-8F and 747-400F cargo aircraft on scheduled routes
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and crew briefings
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures
- Manage multi-crew operations on widebody freighter aircraft

Requirements
- Valid EASA Part FCL ATPL or CPL/IR with ATPL (Frozen ATPL)
- Valid EASA Part Medical Class 1 Certificate
- Minimum 1500 hours multi-pilot multi-engine jet or turboprop aircraft with MTOW above 10 tons or seating capacity above 19 seats
- Candidates with 1500 hours on widebody aircraft eligible for Senior First Officer position
- Above average flying abilities and impeccable safety standards
- Ability to work in multicultural environment
- Full secondary level education minimum (Baccalauréat, Abitur, A-Level Exam, Matura, Fachschulreife)
- Authorization to live and work in Luxembourg
- Minimum ICAO English language proficiency level 4 (level 6 preferred)
- Successfully pass security background check and pre-employment medical test
- Agreement to transfer license to Luxembourg-issued EASA license
