About This Role
Amentum is seeking a First Officer/Co-Pilot for B737-600NG operations based in Las Vegas, NV. The position involves serving as Pilot in Command (SIC) of cargo and passenger transport aircraft, with responsibility for pre-flight checks, flight operations, and crew resource management. Candidates must have a minimum of 1,500 total flight hours, valid FAA ATP certificate with B737 type rating, and a Top Secret/SCI security clearance. This is a US DOD contract position requiring US citizenship and current security clearance eligibility. Compensation is $50.11 per hour with ongoing training and currency requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as Pilot in Command (SIC) of B737-600NG aircraft
- Transport passengers and cargo safely
- Assist Pilot in Command and assume command if PIC becomes incapacitated
- Ensure safety of passengers, crew, cargo, and aircraft
- Comply with all applicable regulations, policies, and Air Traffic Control directives
- Manipulate aircraft controls as pilot flying (PF) and perform duties as pilot monitoring (PM)
- Review maintenance logs, planned routes, weather reports, NOTAMs, and pilot information files
- Compute aircraft weight and balance and takeoff/landing data
- Maintain familiarity with FARs, AIM, FCOM, FCTM, QRH, SPM, and FOM
- Perform position-related duties as assigned

Requirements
- Valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with B737 type rating
- Minimum 1,500 total in-seat flight hours as crewmember in fixed-wing powered aircraft
- Valid US DOT/FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- Current US DOD Top Secret/SCI security clearance
- US Citizen (required for security clearance)
- Current US DHS/TSA LAS airport badge
- Current US state-issued Driver's License
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Compliance with 14 CFR Parts 60, 61, 67, 117, 120, and 121
- Must be under age 65 per FAA regulations
- EKG if more than 39 years old
- Maintain training and checking currency per Company policy and 14 CFR Part 121
