About This Role
KF Aerospace is seeking an ATR 72-500 First Officer to join their air cargo operations based in Vancouver (YVR), supporting their 10-year Purolator BC Feeder Service contract. The company operates a fleet of ATR 72-500, CV580, and CV5800 aircraft for cargo operations across Canada with a 1,200-person workforce. Candidates must hold a current Canadian ATPL or CPL with IATRA/SAMRA/SARON exams, multi-engine and Group 1 Instrument ratings, with preference for transport category turbine or turbojet experience. This position offers excellent work-life balance with 12-14 flying days per month, home every night, most weekends off, and a competitive salary range of CAD $54,800-$78,000 annually, plus signing bonuses up to $20,000 for type-rated candidates.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate ATR 72-500 aircraft on domestic cargo routes
  • Fly Monday to Friday feeder service routes from YVR to YYJ, YKA, YXS, and YLW
  • Conduct pre-flight inspections and safety checks
  • Manage crew resource management procedures
  • Return to YVR each evening
  • Complete required flight documentation and reports

Requirements
  • Current Canadian Airline Transport Pilot (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot (CPL) license
  • IATRA or valid SAMRA/SARON exams
  • Multi-Engine rating
  • Group 1 Instrument rating
  • Valid Canadian passport or Canadian work permit
  • Ability to obtain and retain Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
  • Ability to travel and operate to the United States and other network countries
  • No criminal convictions without granted pardon
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Transport category turbine or turbojet experience preferred
