About This Role
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is recruiting experienced First Officers for their Airbus fleet on a seniority-based permanent contract. As one of the world's leading flag carriers, KLM operates a modern fleet including A320, B737, B777, B787, and B747 cargo aircraft. Candidates must hold a frozen ATPL with type rating, possess at least 500 hours on heavy twin-engine aircraft, and demonstrate proficiency in Dutch language at B2 level. Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Airbus aircraft on scheduled commercial flights
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and crew briefings
- Manage flight operations according to KLM procedures
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements

Requirements
- Frozen ATPL license required
- Instrument Rating (IR) required
- Multi-crew Pilot License (MCC) required
- Multi-engine endorsement (ME) required
- UPRT (Upset Prevention and Recovery Training) certificate required
- Valid EASA license
- Class 1 Medical Certificate
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 6
- Minimum 500 hours experience on heavy twin fixed wing aircraft (5,700 kg or more)
- 150 hours of recent flying experience in commercial aviation
- A/C type rating required
- Valid passport
- Minimum MBO-4 diploma in technology or HAVO diploma including English, mathematics, and physics
- Good knowledge of Dutch language or pass B2 level European Framework of Reference exam
- Must already have work authorization in Netherlands/EU (visa not sponsored)
