About This Role
Spirit Airlines is seeking First Officers to operate A320 family aircraft on scheduled routes across their US-based network. Candidates must hold an ATP or Restricted ATP certificate with multi-engine rating and a minimum of 1,500 total flight hours, including 250 hours PIC and 500 hours fixed-wing time. Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate A320 family aircraft safely and efficiently in accordance with FARs, company policies, and standard operating procedures
- Work closely with the Captain to ensure safe, compliant, and timely completion of each flight
- Maintain strong crew resource management (CRM), communication, and situational awareness throughout all phases of flight
- Provide professional, friendly, and guest-focused service consistent with Spirit's brand
- Collaborate with Flight Attendants, Dispatch, Maintenance, and ground teams to support smooth, reliable operations
- Adapt to operational changes, irregular operations, and evolving workload demands
- Uphold Spirit's values of teamwork, professionalism, and commitment to safety

Requirements
- Minimum 23 years of age
- Valid FAA ATP or Restricted ATP certificate with multi-engine rating
- 1,500 hours total flight time
- 500 hours fixed-wing time
- 50 hours multi-engine time
- 250 hours Pilot in Command (PIC)
- 100 hours flight time in the preceding 12 months
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- FCC Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Valid passport with at least 12 months validity for USA and all Spirit Airlines destinations
- Fluent English language proficiency (read, write, speak)
- Excellent communication skills and strong aeronautical decision-making
- High attention to detail and adherence to procedures
- Ability to work variable schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willing to relocate or commute reliably to a Spirit pilot base
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
- Pass 10-year background check
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, up to 10 lbs constantly
