About This Role
Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, seeks experienced First Officers for its A320 fleet based in Abu Dhabi. The airline is experiencing significant growth, with over 10 million passengers carried in 2025 alone and 20+ new aircraft arriving this year as part of its Journey 2030 expansion strategy. Candidates must have a minimum of 2,500 total flight hours with 1,500 hours on multi-crew, glass cockpit aircraft, plus an unrestricted ATPL and current Class 1 Medical Certificate. Requirements
- Minimum 2,500 hours total flying time
- Minimum 1,500 hours on multi-crew, glass cockpit aircraft
- Unrestricted ATPL or valid frozen ATPL issued by ICAO member state
- Unrestricted, current Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Must not have attained the age of 50 on the day of joining
- English language fluency (written and verbal) – ICAO Level 4 or better
- A320 type rating not required at application (will be provided through training)
