About This Role
Etihad Airways is seeking experienced First Officers for the A320 family aircraft to join their rapidly expanding fleet based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The national airline of the UAE operates over 150 destinations globally and is one of the world's leading carriers with a clear strategy to double its fleet by 2030. Candidates must meet either criteria requiring 2000+ total hours with 500+ hours on type, or 1500+ total hours with 1000+ hours on A320 family aircraft, along with valid ATPL and A320 type rating. Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Captain in all aspects of flight preparation, navigation, and operation
- Ensure compliance with Etihad's operating procedures and regulatory standards
- Maintain continuous and independent check of aircraft position, terrain, and weather
- Provide clear communication, advice, and support to the Captain for safe decision-making
- Uphold high standards of discipline, conduct, and personal appearance
- Assume command in event of Captain incapacitation according to rank and company procedures

Requirements
- Minimum 1500 hours total flying time (Criteria B) or 2000 hours total flying time (Criteria A)
- Minimum 1000 hours on any A320 family aircraft (Criteria B) or 500 hours on type (Criteria A)
- Minimum 1500 hours on multi-crew, glass cockpit MPA for Criteria A
- Flown A320 family aircraft within the last 12 months
- Valid A320 type rating with at least 2 months validity remaining at time of joining
- Unrestricted ATPL or valid frozen ATPL issued by ICAO member state
- Unrestricted, current Class 1 medical certificate
- Must not have attained age 50 on day of joining
- ICAO English Level 4 or better (written and verbal)
- Holders of Frozen ATPL License must present ATPL Theoretical Knowledge Exam results and integrated ATPL course completion certificate
