About This Role
Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Falcon 900EX EASy Captain for an operation at KHPN in White Plains, New York. The role is responsible for safe and prudent flight operations, aircraft and passenger safety, maintenance-status review, flight planning, compliance with Solairus procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, and accurate trip paperwork. The posting requires 3,000 hours of total time, 1,500 hours of PIC and MEL experience, 500 hours of MEL PIC and turbojet time, a Falcon 900EX EASy or comparable type rating, annual ICAO International procedures training, on-call availability, and residence within a two-hour drive of KHPN or relocation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the Falcon 900EX EASy aircraft and for conducting flights safely and prudently. Duties include reviewing the aircraft maintenance status
- conducting a complete pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual
- checking weather, route facilities, intended airports, and alternate airports
- ensuring compliance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
- protecting the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew
- and accurately completing all trip paperwork under current procedures.
Requirements
- Applicants must have 3,000 hours of total flight time, 1,500 hours of PIC time, 1,500 hours of MEL time, 500 hours of MEL PIC time, 500 hours in turbojets, and 250 hours of instrument time.
- They must be type rated on the Falcon 900EX EASy or a comparable aircraft and hold a first-class medical.
- The Captain must be able to work on an on-call basis, complete ICAO International procedures training annually, and maintain a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KHPN or be willing to relocate.
