About This Role
Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Falcon 7X Captain to join a managed business-jet operation based at Monterey Regional Airport (KMRY) in Monterey, California. As pilot-in-command, the Captain is responsible for the safe and professional operation of the Falcon 7X, meeting the travel needs of the client account while upholding Solairus' culture of safety, service, and integrity. Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the Falcon 7X aircraft and for conducting all flights in a safe and prudent manner. Duties include reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft
- performing a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual
- completing a thorough check of weather and facilities along the route and at all airports to be used, including alternates
- ensuring each flight is conducted in accordance with Solairus Aviation's policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
- ensuring the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew
- and accurately completing all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.
Requirements
- Applicants must have 3,000 hours total time, 1,500 hours PIC, 1,500 hours multi-engine land (MEL), 500 hours MEL PIC, 500 hours in turbojet aircraft, and 250 hours instrument time.
- Candidates must be type rated on the Falcon 7X or a comparable aircraft and hold a First Class medical certificate.
- The role requires the ability to work on an on-call basis, to complete ICAO International procedures training annually, and to maintain a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KMRY or be willing to relocate.
