About This Role
CAE Simuflite seeks an ERJ145 Instructor Pilot based in Las Vegas to deliver world-class simulator and ground school instruction. The role involves training pilots on the EMB-145 aircraft through comprehensive simulator sessions, briefings, and classroom instruction while maintaining regulatory compliance and exceptional customer service. Ideal candidates hold an ATP certificate with unrestricted PIC type rating and 3000+ hours total flight time. Requirements
- High school diploma or state-issued equivalent (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred)
- 2-5 years of relevant job experience
- Professional pilot's license required
- Hold or have held a professional pilot's license
- Must be authorized to live and work in the United States
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
- Ability to participate in CAE's DOT Anti-Drug & Alcohol testing program
- Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to sit in confined space for 4-6 hours with limited breaks
- Ability to stand for extended periods up to 10 hours
- Ability to sit, stoop, climb, twist, and turn
- Previous experience teaching or training others (preferred)
- Existing instructor qualification or aircraft type rating (preferred)
- FAR Part 135 experience (preferred)
- 3000+ hours total flight time (preferred)
- Unrestricted ATP certificate with at least one unrestricted PIC type rating (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create positive and effective learning environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
