Eastern Air Express is seeking experienced Direct Entry Captains for B737 operations based in Miami, Youngstown, or Killeen. This role requires a minimum 7,000 total flight hours, 2,000 PIC hours on multi-crew aircraft, and 1,000 hours of Part 121 experience, with preference for B737 type rating and prior Part 121 Captain experience. The position offers a 72-hour monthly guarantee, competitive salary, and quality-of-life schedule.
Requirements
- Minimum 7,000 total flight hours (turboprop and/or turbojet time in the operating seat only)
- Minimum 2,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command on multi-crew, multi-engine, commercial aircraft
- Minimum 1,000 hours of flight time under Part 121 operations
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
- Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Valid U.S. Passport or equivalent authorization for unrestricted worldwide travel
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- English proficiency at ICAO Level 4 or higher
- Authorization to work in the United States (U.S. Passport holder or Green Card holder)
- Successful completion of pre-employment DOT drug and alcohol testing
- Criminal history records check (CHRC) and ongoing testing compliance
- Meets all FAR 121.436 requirements for Direct Entry Captain status
- Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
- Willingness to travel extensively and work seniority-based schedule
- Commitment to regulatory compliance and safety leadership
- Must live within 2 hours of Miami (MIA), Youngstown (YNG), or Killeen (GRK)
- B737 type rating preferred
- Prior Part 121 Captain experience preferred
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)
- Exceptional leadership and Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills
