Berry Aviation seeks a Director of Training for government/defense operations in San Marcos. This is a management/leadership role requiring 5000 hours total flight time with 2000 hours turbine PIC and 2+ years instructor/check pilot experience. Position does not require sponsorship and demands FAA CPL with Class 1 Medical.
Requirements
- Minimum 5000 hours total flight time
- Minimum 2000 hours Turbine PIC
- Valid FAA CPL license
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Minimum 2 years experience as instructor pilot and/or check pilot in FAA certificated air carrier training program
- Minimum 1 year demonstrated leadership or management experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Extensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and aviation training standards
- Experience conducting aviation research and authoring documentation
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to learn specialized or proprietary software systems
- Must have right to work in United States without visa sponsorship
