About This Role
TransMedics is seeking a Director of Aviation to lead their corporate aviation operations based in Lawrence, Massachusetts. This is a leadership and management role overseeing various aircraft operations under Part 91 and Part 135 regulations. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years' experience with Part 121 or 135 air carriers, 3 years of relevant safety experience, and 2 years of prior leadership experience. Requirements
- Valid FAA CPL license
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Minimum 5 years' experience with Part 121 or 135 air carrier
- Minimum 3 years' relevant work experience with air carrier safety
- Minimum 2 years of prior leadership experience
- Knowledge and operational experience of 14 CFR Part 91 and Part 135 operations
- Completed aircraft training course at CAE or FlightSafety
- Must pass background check
- Subject to pre-employment and random drug screening
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite products
- Ability to travel 50% based on business needs
- Self-starter work ethic
- Excellent leadership and organization skills
- Bachelor's degree in aviation or related field (preferred)
