About This Role
KlasJet, a leading aircraft operator based in Vilnius, Lithuania, seeks an experienced Director Crew Training (Nominated Person) to oversee all training activities and maintain the highest standards across their flight operations. This is a management and training role requiring a current B737 type rating instructor with ATPL and extensive command experience (minimum 8000 hours total with 4000 hours PIC). Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure highest standards of training are maintained while meeting airline requirements
- Ensure relevant processes, procedures, and manuals are up-to-date and relevant
- Supervise correct execution and maximization of all training activities according to regulations and standards
- Ensure balanced scheduling, maximum throughput, and revenue capture; make improvement proposals and report findings
- Ensure high standard of instructors
- Supervise pilot training progress and provide recommendations for remedial training actions
- Interface with Sales and Customer Services to ensure customer satisfaction
- Conduct simulator instruction or examination as required
- Work with internal departments to standardize training and processes

Requirements
- Current B737 type rating instructor qualification
- Valid ICAO-recognized Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
- Current or former instructor/examiner qualification issued by ICAO-recognized Regulatory Authority
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- At least 2 years of aeronautical industry experience in an appropriate position
- Minimum 3 years as an instructor/examiner
- Minimum 8000 hours of airline flying experience
- Minimum 4000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC)
- Sound understanding of regulatory requirements pertaining to training and ATO management
- Minimum ICAO Level 5 in Aviation English or equivalent
- Completed approved CRM training course
- Familiarity with EU safety regulations preferred
- Knowledge of AOC operations specifications preferred
- Widebody aircraft line/training experience preferred
- Experience with multiple aircraft type ratings preferred
- Experience working with regulatory bodies preferred
- Practical expertise in aviation safety standards and safe operating practices preferred
- Completed Quality/Safety Management Course preferred
- Management systems familiarity preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and presentation skills preferred
