British Airways seeks Direct Entry Pilots for long-haul B777 operations based at London Heathrow. Requires minimum 1500 total hours with 500 hours on relevant multi-pilot jet aircraft type. Requirements
- Current UK issued CAA Flight Crew Licence ATPL(A), fATPL(A) or MPL (with hours requirements to upgrade to ATPL)
- Non-UK ATPL licence holders must meet Third Country CPL and ATPL licence conversion requirements from 1 January 2023
- Minimum 1500 hours total flight time
- 500 hours on a relevant multi-pilot jet aeroplane type (CS-25 or equivalent standard)
- Relevant aeroplane type experience within 12 months preceding ZFTT Conversion course
- Class 1 Medical Certificate (UK CAA issued before job offer)
- Height between 1.57m (5'2") and 1.91m (6'3") - pilots taller than 1.91m require functionality check
- Good level of physical fitness
- Spoken and written English ICAO Level 6
- Valid passport with minimum 12 months validity
- Able to comply with British Airways uniform standards
- Ability to swim 50m followed by treading water for 3 minutes
- Able to tread water whilst fitting a lifejacket and pull yourself into a life raft
- B777 type rating preferred for immediate deployment
- Minimum 21 years of age (implied by Class 1 Medical requirements)
