About This Role
Scoot, a Singapore-based budget carrier, is seeking experienced Turboprop Captains to transition into Direct Entry Captain positions on the Embraer E190 narrow-body fleet. This is a unique opportunity for accomplished multi-crew turboprop operators to move into commercial jet operations with fixed roster patterns and competitive compensation. Candidates must have a minimum of 4,000 total flight hours with 2,000 hours PIC on multi-engine turboprop aircraft, plus a valid ICAO ATPL (Singapore CAA issued or convertible). Successful candidates will receive type rating training with co-payment requirements and must pass online aptitude tests, assessment centre evaluation in Singapore, and simulator assessments before joining the left seat.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Take command of the E190 aircraft from the left-hand seat
- Ensure flight safety, passenger comfort, and on-time operations
- Lead and manage flight crew operations
- Uphold highest personal and professional standards
- Develop and mentor Scoot team members
- Deliver Scootitude experience to passengers
- Ensure compliance with all operational and safety procedures

Requirements
- Valid ICAO ATPL issued by Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (foreign ATPL requires license conversion with instrument rating and proficiency check)
- Minimum 4,000 total flight hours on aeroplanes with MTMA of 5,700kg or more
- Minimum 2,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on multi-engine turboprop commercial airline transport aircraft certificated for multi-crew operation
- ICAO English Level 4 or higher proficiency
- Satisfy all vaccination requirements as required by CAAS
- E190 type rating required (training provided with co-payment)
- Training bond commitment required
- Pass online aptitude tests
- Pass Assessment Centre evaluation in Singapore (group and individual stages)
- Pass Simulator Assessment and Personality Assessment
