About This Role
Surf Air Mobility is seeking Direct Entry Captains to operate Cessna 208 Caravans from their Kahului, Hawaii base. The company is transforming air mobility through innovative technology and electrification, pioneering efficient and accessible flying experiences. Candidates must hold an FAA ATP or Commercial Instrument license with a minimum of 1200 total flight hours (500 cross-country, 100 night, 75 instrument) and a current second-class medical certificate. Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Cessna 208 Caravan aircraft on assigned routes
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and aircraft checks
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company safety procedures
- Manage crew resource management and passenger safety
- Complete flight logs and required documentation
- Maintain proficiency and comply with training requirements

Requirements
- Current FAA ATP or Commercial with Instrument rating
- Minimum 1200 hours total flight time
- Minimum 500 hours cross-country
- Minimum 100 hours night flying
- Minimum 75 hours instrument time (no more than 25 simulated)
- Current FAA second class medical certificate
- Radio Operator's Certificate
- Valid US Passport for CASS
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. per Immigration Act of 1986
- Pass 10-year background check
- Pass pre-employment drug screen
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- Preferred: C-208 experience
- Preferred: 100 hours turbine time
- Preferred: Part 135 experience
