About This Role
Scoot is expanding its Boeing 787 wide-body operations in Singapore and is recruiting experienced direct-entry B787 Captains. The role involves commanding flights from the left-hand seat, maintaining the highest safety and professional standards, and leading crew members to deliver safe, comfortable and punctual service. Duties & Responsibilities
- As the left-seat Captain, the successful candidate will take command of the flight and ensure that the highest personal and professional standards are maintained at all times.
- The Captain will focus on ensuring that every flight is safe, comfortable and on time.
- As both a leader and a team player, the Captain will set an example and help develop Scoot team members so they can deliver the Scootitude experience to passengers.

Requirements
- Applicants must have more than 5,000 total flight hours on aeroplanes with an MTMA of 5,700 kg or more, including at least 2,000 Pilot-in-Command hours, excluding P1 U/S hours, on multi-engine jet commercial airline transport aircraft certificated for multi-crew operation. The licensing requirement is a Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore-issued ICAO ATPL
- holders of a foreign ATPL must complete licence conversion, including an instrument rating and a proficiency check with at least six months' validity. Candidates must demonstrate English speaking and comprehension at a minimum of ICAO Level 4 and satisfy all vaccination requirements imposed by CAAS.
