ATR Americas is seeking a Deputy Head of Flight Training based in Miami to manage all ground and simulator training operations for the ATR training center. This leadership role requires a Captain-ranked pilot with FAA and EASA ATR type ratings, extensive flight experience, and proven instructor/examiner qualifications. Requirements
- Right to live and work in the US with no restrictions
- FAA ATR license holder
- EASA ATPL license holder
- ATR type rating on both FAA and EASA licenses
- Captain rank on ATR aircraft
- Significant commercial pilot flight experience including ATR experience
- Instructor/examiner rating
- Excellent knowledge of aeronautical training activities and FSTD teaching tools
- Understanding of aeronautical training center operations and requirements
- Up-to-date knowledge of FAA and EASA training regulation changes
- Extended experience developing training programs
- Previous experience as Chief or Deputy Training Captain or TRI/TRE preferred
- Good knowledge of Safety Management Systems (SMS)
- Experience in auditing and evaluating records and systems
- Ability to create and deliver presentations to customers and authorities
- Fluent in English with ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- French or Spanish language skills preferred
- Customer-oriented approach
- Ability to manage strong relationships with customers, authorities, and colleagues
- Ability to work outside normal business hours when required
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
