AIRTEC seeks an experienced DC-3TP Pilot-In-Command for Part 91 Department of Defense maritime surveillance missions. This rotational position (30/30, 45/45, or 60/60 schedule) requires extensive tailwheel and multi-engine experience, with top-tier security clearance and willingness to operate in austere, overwater environments.
Requirements
- Current US passport and valid driver's license with clean driving record
- FAA Class II Medical certificate (or eligible)
- Commercial MEL Pilot's license (ATP preferred)
- Current security clearance at Secret level or higher
- Minimum 3000 hours total flight time
- Minimum 1000 hours multi-engine time
- Minimum 500 hours turbine time
- Minimum 500 hours PIC in DC-3TP or similar tailwheel aircraft
- Minimum 500 hours tailwheel aircraft experience
- Radio Telephone Operators Permit
- Pass drug test and background check
- Operate aircraft in Day/Night/IMC conditions per FGOPS and FAA regulations
- Assist with flight briefs, safety management, aircraft maintenance documentation
- Willing to deploy to austere locations throughout US and OCONUS
- Ability to wear respirator and work in confined spaces
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- US citizenship required
