About This Role
Perimeter Aviation, a Canadian regional airline established in 1960 and based in Winnipeg and Thompson, Manitoba, is seeking a Dash 8 First Officer. The company operates 45+ aircraft providing scheduled passenger and freight services to Northern Canada, along with 24/7 charter and medical evacuation services. This position requires a minimum of 500 total flight hours, a Commercial Pilot License or ATPL, a Dash 8 type rating, and a Category 1 Medical Certificate. The role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse, safety-focused team and develop skills towards eventual Captain advancement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent
- Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
- Individual Aeroplane Type Rating - Aeroplane (IATRA) or equivalent
- Minimum 500 hours total flight time
- Category 1 Medical Certificate
- Current Group 1 Instrument Rating
- Fluent in English with effective verbal and listening comprehension
- Ability to obtain and maintain transportation security clearances
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Physically able to perform all job duties
- Willing to travel by aircraft and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset
