About This Role
Michelin North America Corporate Aviation is hiring a Pilot to act as pilot in command of company aircraft. Responsibilities include safe and efficient operation of the company aircraft, flight planning (domestic and international), regulatory compliance, and managing flight operations as the final authority. Small flight department (6 pilots), Part 91 corporate operation based in Greer/Greenville, SC.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as pilot in command of their scheduled flight.
- Prepare and file flight plans both domestic and international.
- Fly safely with continuous management of all systems and situations.
- Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, Local and foreign regulations and follow SOPs.
- Plan flights considering weather, NOTAMS, aircraft capabilities and airworthiness.
- Calculate aircraft weight and balance, performance and fuel requirements.
- Use PFM Flight Management System.
- Align with customs, immigration and cabotage laws on international trips.
- Complete post-flight duties including inspection, maintenance reports and record-keeping.
- Brief passengers per company and FAA requirements.
Requirements
- FAA Airline Transport Rating (ATP) with airplane multi-engine land and instrument ratings.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 3500 Total hours of flight experience, 1000 hours in jet-powered aircraft and 2000 hours PIC in multi-engine aircraft.
- Experience in Multi-crew environment (2 pilots).
- Experience in Crew Resource Management (CRM).
- Familiarity with FAA FAR Part 91 and ICAO Annexes.
- Must have a Valid U.S.
- Passport.
- Must hold an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Qualified for FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate.
- International flight experience into Canada & Mexico.
- DA-2EASy type rating preferred but not required.
