Lead aviation safety and operations for Fly2Health, a national healthcare aviation provider serving over 100 remote communities across Australia, where you'll blend hands-on flying (3 times weekly) with strategic management of safety systems across 18 aircraft based in Melbourne. In this hybrid role, you'll oversee pilot development, regulatory compliance, and safety culture for a growing fleet while earning $140-160k plus benefits and maintaining current flying credentials. Requirements
- Minimum 5000 total flying hours
- Current Single Engine and Multi-Engine Approval (SEA, MEA)
- Current Instrument Rating Check (IPC)
- Class 2 medical certificate
- Flight Engineer (FE) preferred
- Extensive aviation safety leadership experience
- Experience leading pilots in GA or airline industry
- Thorough understanding of CASA regulatory requirements
- Proven track record in developing and implementing safety management systems
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated leadership and team motivation abilities
- Flexible, open-minded and practical approach to problem-solving
