Airmedic Inc. is seeking a Captain for their Learjet 45 XR air ambulance operations based in Saint-Hubert, Quebec. This is a full-time position with a 14/7 roster involving aeromedical evacuation flights. Requires ATPL, 1500 total hours, 500 jet hours, and previous Captain IFR experience.
Requirements
- Valid ATPL license
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate without restrictions for night flying
- Valid PPC (Proficiency check) as Captain on Learjet 40, 45, 70, and/or 75 (including LR45XR and LR40XR) - must be acquired within first month if required
- Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
- SAMRA certification
- SARON certification
- Valid Group 1 Instrument Rating
- Minimum 1500 hours total flight time
- Minimum 500 hours jet flight time
- Previous command experience in IFR operations
- ICAO French and English Level 5 minimum
- Bilingual (French and English) with professional English for international communications
- International experience (preferred)
- Experience on Learjet 40, 45, 70, and 75 variants (preferred)
- Valid Canadian passport without restrictions (able to travel to USA and internationally)
- Eligible for CIZR (regulated area identification card)
- Clean criminal record that does not prevent travel to USA and internationally
- Ability to work and perform sustained missions for 14 consecutive days with days up to 14 hours including weekends and holidays
- Commitment to complete and maintain mandatory ongoing training and certifications
