About This Role
Northern Jet, a private aviation company operating a fleet of 40+ jets with an ARGUS Platinum safety rating, seeks an experienced Pilot-in-Command for its CJ2/CJ3/CJ3+/CJ4 fleet. The role is home-based (must reside east of Texas) on an 8-days-on/6-days-off schedule, flying approximately 450+ hours annually under a mix of Part 135 and Part 91 operations. Base salary of $149,500 annually with total first-year compensation over $175,000.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate flights under Part 91 and Part 135 regulations
- ensure full compliance with FAA regulations, duty limits, and company procedures
- lead and coordinate all aspects of flight execution with your crew
- maintain aircraft safety, readiness, and reporting standards
- deliver a white-glove client experience aligned with Northern Jet standards
- complete required administrative and operational documentation.
Requirements
- PIC Minimum Qualifications: 3,000 Total Time
- 1,500 PIC Time
- 500+ hours of Multi-Engine Time
- Current 1st Class Medical
- Unrestricted FAA Airline Transport Pilot License. Other Requirements: No accidents, incidents, or warnings within the past five years. Thorough knowledge of corporate aviation and international procedures, including operations in Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
