About This Role
Second In Command (SIC) / First Officer on the Cessna Citation XLS for flyExclusive, operating domestic trips under Part 135. The SIC reports administratively to the Chief Pilot and to the Pilot-in-Command during flight, assisting the PIC in the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Position is full time with 100% travel while on rotation; based at Kinston, NC.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient flight operations for domestic trip assignments operating under Part 135 regulations while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Adhere to the duties and responsibilities stated in all company procedures manuals.
- Maintain a current first-class medical certificate as required by policy and notify the company if a medical condition may impair the ability to perform flight duties.
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism, and ability to coordinate and lead the crew.
- Greeting of passengers, assistance with passenger seating, and luggage storage.
- Conduct passenger briefings and respond to passenger requests/needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Required education and experience: Working knowledge of all Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to Part 135.
- Thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, & other international flight operations regulations.
- ATP complete.
- FAA First Class Medical.
- At least 2,000 hours Total Time (Fixed Wing).
- At least 200 hours of Multi-Engine Time.
- Valid Passport.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to/from Canada as a commercial pilot.
- Appropriate Type Rating.
- Safety-Sensitive role subject to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing under FAA guidelines.
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
