About This Role
Walmart Aviation seeks an experienced Chief Pilot – Medium Range to lead flight operations and serve as Captain on medium-range corporate aircraft based in Rogers, Arkansas. This leadership role combines active flight operations with team management, focusing on safety culture, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. Candidates must hold an ATP license with minimum 2,000 total flight hours, 1,000 turbine hours, and 500 PIC hours, along with a jet type rating and valid FAA first-class medical certificate. Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and operate as Captain on medium-range corporate flights
- Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company standard operating procedures
- Conduct comprehensive flight planning including route analysis, weather assessment, fuel calculations, and regulatory documentation
- Foster transparent communication and positive relationships across aviation teams
- Promote and model strong safety culture through debriefings and crew performance monitoring
- Mentor and coach crew members for skill development
- Manage operational risks and recommend SOP enhancements
- Develop, evaluate, and improve Standard Operating Procedures
- Oversee cost-effective procurement and maintenance arrangements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across flight operations

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in management-related discipline or 3+ years supervisory experience as Chief Pilot or aviation management
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) License with multi-engine land ratings
- English proficiency endorsement on ATP license
- Valid passport
- FAA first class medical certificate
- 2,000 hours total flight time
- 1,000 hours turbine time
- 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time
- Jet aircraft type rating required
- Proven experience operating as Captain on medium-range aircraft
- Extensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
- Strong flight discipline and safety culture commitment
