About This Role
Mission Aviation Fellowship seeks a Chief Pilot for their Cessna 208 Caravan operations based in N'djamena, Chad. MAF is a humanitarian organization using light aircraft to deliver medical supplies, relief workers, and aid to remote regions across Africa for over 75 years. The successful candidate will manage flight safety, oversee pilot performance, and safely operate aircraft in challenging conditions across developing nations. Candidates must have a minimum of 500 hours total flight time, three years experience as a Captain in commercial air transport operations, and a CPL with instrument rating. Visa sponsorship is provided for qualified candidates.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee flight safety
- Monitor and evaluate pilot performance
- Safely and efficiently operate MAF aircraft in accordance with company policy and procedure
- Transport patients, relief workers, medical supplies, and humanitarian aid to remote regions
- Conduct flight operations across challenging terrain and weather conditions

Requirements

- Minimum French proficiency level B1
