About This Role
Leading Edge Aviation seeks an experienced Chief Multi-Crew Cooperation Instructor (CMCCI) to lead their MCC training department at their Oxford campus. This is a full-time management and instructional role for a qualified UK CAA MCCI with A320 and/or B737 experience. The position combines delivering high-quality MCC training to student pilots with leadership responsibilities including department management, course scheduling, courseware development, and FSTD oversight. The role offers a competitive salary of £68,000-£70,000 per annum with 25 days holiday, pension scheme, and commitment to professional development in a collaborative training environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality MCC training lessons in ground school and simulator environment (approximately 4 lessons per week)
  • Maintain efficient, professional, and quality training department operations
  • Lead planning of APS MCC schedule ensuring efficiency and resource optimization
  • Plan and lead MCCI standardization with nominated standards
  • Manage and update all courseware in liaison with development team
  • Assist with FSTD maintenance and quarterly testing (subjective and objective)
  • Manage utilization of new technologies including VR tool development
  • Develop or modify courses to reflect regulatory changes and new equipment
  • Liaise with facilities management on simulator center infrastructure
  • Lead initiatives to expand business dependent on FSTD usage
  • Manage contractor MCCI availability and coverage planning
  • Issue and manage recovery of VR headsets for students

Requirements
  • Current UK CAA qualified MCCI (Dual UK/EASA MCCI desirable)
  • TRI/TRE and SFI/SFE qualifications (desirable)
  • A320 and/or B737 experience with minimum 2 years
  • 2 years' experience within last 5 years on current airline operations (desirable)
  • Demonstrable experience delivering APS MCC courses or previous instructor experience
  • Previous simulator training management experience
  • Department leadership and people management experience
  • Highest personal and professional standards
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite
  • Ability to work shifts as per established rota
  • Flexibility and collaborative mindset
