About This Role
Chief Flight Instructor (CFI) role at BAA Training, an EASA aviation training organisation (ATO) based in Vilnius, Lithuania. The CFI supervises flight and flight-simulation training instructors, standardises all flight and flight-simulation instruction, drives EBT (Evidence-Based Training) implementation, analyses student assessments (KSA100; CBTA), and supports incident/accident inquiry commissions as an SME. Salary stated as 8400 EUR to 10000 EUR gross.
Duties & Responsibilities
- CFI shall be responsible for the supervision of flight and flight simulation training instructors and for the standardisation of all flight instruction and flight simulation instruction. Collecting data on training occurrences and implement corrective actions to minimize the repetitive issues, in cooperation with HT. Drive the implementation and improvement of the EBT training concept in BAA Training. Participating into inquiry commission in case of incident or accident as supportive SME. Collecting and evaluating a feedback received from students and BAA Training staff regarding training and operation efficiency. Analysing students' assessments' and evaluation reports (KSA100
- CBTA) and participating in modifying Training Programs and ATO Manuals, if necessary, in order to achieve learning objectives. Deciding on additional training in case the student has not reached the required level of knowledge or skills.
Requirements
- Has not lower than ATPL license with the valid highest associated ratings.
- Holds an instructor certificate with the privilege to instruct for at least one of the following type training courses (A320 or B737NG).
- Has not lower than 4 ICAO English level.
- Has 1000 hours of flight time as pilot-in-command (PIC), and at least 500 hours of flight time at the position of instructor related to the flight training courses, from which 200 hours may be related to instrument flight ground time.
- Has experience with training in line with EASA EBT guidelines.
